  Black Crochet Butterfly Crop Top: Not every top needs an explanation. This one gets stopped for one anyway. I threw this on with plain jeans expecting the top to do some of the work, and it ended up doing basically all of it. Instead of the usual full review format, I'm breaking this one down like a scorecard, category by category, since that's honestly how I ended up judging it myself while wearing it. First Look The design is a crocheted butterfly, wings spread across the chest and shoulders, in solid black yarn layered over a simple white base top. It's not subtle, and it's not meant to be. The wings extend out past the shoulders slightly, almost like small cap sleeves, and the body of the butterfly narrows down toward the waist, ending well above the belly button. There's also a thin black cord that ties at the back of the neck, giving it a halter-style finish rather than a traditional crew or scoop neckline.
